At 1st Response Services, we recently completed another successful warehouse racking strip-out project, this time at Tate Enterprise LTD, Unit 8 Apol Silva Industrial Park, Freshwater Road, Dagenham, RM8 1RX.
The project involved the safe dismantling and removal of a large quantity of pallet racking from the warehouse, with all work completed efficiently and on schedule.
The Project
Our experienced strip-out team was tasked with dismantling a combination of Dexion P90 and Apex pallet racking systems. The project was carefully planned to minimise disruption while ensuring all health and safety procedures were followed throughout the works.
The strip-out was completed over three days:
- Day 1: Commenced the dismantling of the warehouse racking.
- Day 2: Completed the strip-out of all remaining racking.
- Day 3: Loaded the lorries and cleared the site, leaving the warehouse ready for its next phase of development.
Racking Removed
The project included the removal of:
Dexion P90
- 74 × 5.5m × 900mm frames
- 74 × 2.62m open beams (100mm × 50mm)
Apex
- 74 × 5.0m × 900mm frames
- 283 × 2.62m open beams (110mm × 50mm)
- 232 × 2.62m open beams (85mm × 50mm)
- 152 × 2.62m closed beams (90mm × 50mm)
In total, our team safely dismantled and removed:
- 148 pallet racking frames
- 741 pallet racking beams
- 889 individual racking components
